A Huachuma cactus ceremony in Cancun invites you to dive deep into yourself with medicine from the cactus known as “San Pedro”. Currently known as Echinopsis pachanoi in scientific literature, is a tall columnar cactus (up to 20 feet), light green, nocturnal flowering, almost spineless, native to the Cordillera of the Andes. The goal of a Huachuma ceremony is to allow you to bloom and to open like the flower of the San Pedro cactus.
